Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel within the walled city of Cartagena was a mix of highs and lows. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the historic center, but the rooms left much to be desired with an old and run-down feel and unwelcome guests in the form of large roaches. On the bright side, the pool outside my ground-floor room was a nice touch.
My stay at the hotel was quite a mixed experience. On one hand, the rooms were spacious and thoughtfully furnished with beautiful views, but on the other, the run-down condition was hard to ignore, with old smells, a high number of roaches, and a mattress that felt worn and uncomfortable. The lack of natural light due to no windows made the room feel dark and somewhat gloomy.
My stay at this B&B had its pros and cons. The room was not as expected and felt a bit dingy, but the hotel's location was excellent in the historical walled colonial Old Town. The dining experience was good but could be improved, and the facilities were sufficient. Overall, a mixed experience.
My stay at the hotel was quite average overall. The rooms were big and comfortable despite some issues like old smells and a high amount of roaches, along with worn-out amenities like the rusty refrigerator. The breakfast was decent, but the quality of the room facilities was disappointing.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and offered beautiful views, there was a noticeable smell that bothered me. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was decent, but the bathroom was tiny. The service was friendly but lacking in some aspects. The location within the walled city was undoubtedly a highlight, allowing me to explore the historic district easily. The dining options were varied, with some dishes being really good while others fell short. The facilities were decent but could use some improvements.
The hotel's rooms, though not exactly as depicted in the description, are undergoing improvements. They are of an okay size, equipped with air conditioning and a TV, but didn't quite match the price we paid. The location is the standout feature, situated in a quiet, central street within the historic walled colonial Old Town. The dining experience is good but could improve, offering simple yet satisfying options. Overall, the hotel is excellent due to its prime location.
The hotel had some positives like big and comfortable rooms with amazing beds and a decent breakfast, but it also had some drawbacks such as old smells and a high amount of large roaches. They are working on improvements to the property. The location is safe and central, although it's more in the commercial areas of the historic district.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the historical walled colonial Old Town, making it convenient for exploring the area. While the room was clean and had basic amenities, the presence of a significant number of large roaches and an old, run-down feel were major drawbacks. The small refrigerator was rusty, and the bed mattress was uncomfortable with springs poking out.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were large and comfortable, with amazing beds but had a bit of a smell issue. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the historic center, making it convenient to explore the area. The dining experience was generally good, with varying feedback on portion sizes and variety. The hotel had some facilities that were well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay overall.
